Background

Formed in 2002, the 11-strong Onebestway Design company is based in a converted warehouse, one mile from Newcastle city centre.

Onebestway offer the following services:
  • Logo and brand design: Onebestway advocate that a professional logo will influence people to select your brand over others.
  • Designed and printed promotional material: it’s about choosing the right paper and print processes, writing the copy so it reads well, and getting the images and illustration just right.
  • Website design: Onebestway have won five awards in four years for website design – four in the UK and one in France.  
  • Other: this can be broken down into three subcategories - advertising, specialist illustration and copy writing.

Why did the Company need to act?

The driving force behind the company’s decision to join the Catalyst project supplier list was a referral from a client. Onebestway were more then happy to get involved in a project that would improve regional SMEs’ business processes by utilising ICT and e-business.

What did the Company do?

Onebestway worked with five regional SMEs to review their marketing strategies; understand the benefits a website offers, and to provide bespoke websites. Following this, some clients requested additional work.

What has been the result?

The Catalyst project helped Onebestway secure additional business following initial project work, which led to an increase in turnover.

The Catalyst project also helped Onebestway build up a good working relationship with clients enabling them to meet their needs more successfully. This gave them the satisfaction of delivering beneficial products.

Onebestway tapped into a market that they hadn’t previously worked with – this allowed them to help the SMEs utilise ICT and e-business.
