Background
The Next Level Life Coaching Business was founded in April 2003 and became fully operational six months later after owner, Felicity Breet, realised that there was huge demand for her services.
Based in Durham, The Next Level provides coaching via one hour telephone calls and occasional face-to-face sessions. Felicity holds sessions with four to five people a week – approximately 15 people are active and receiving life coaching through the company at any given time.
Life coaching usually involves individual sessions rather then group sessions, these can cover three main categories: time management and business coaching to help re-establish priorities; retirement planning and life work balance planning to explore the options for life outside or after work; and recovering from a setback and personal life coaching to regain confidence and consider new possibilities.
Why did the Company need to act?
After establishing contacts through a number of business organisations, Felicity became aware that a web presence was essential in order to reach a wider audience and portray a professional business image.
Felicity was also keen provide useful and practical life coaching information on the website for potential customers. This included explanations and descriptions of a typical coaching session and the benefits, expectations, available services, training and so on.
What did the Company do?
The Catalyst project provided The Next Level with a website in coalition with suppliers E-Cat partners, who provided suggestions about the website’s capabilities and help Felicity keep the site up-to-date and provide necessary maintenance.
The website provides descriptive and explanatory information about life coaching, and provides contact details, booking forms, fees plus event details. The website also facilitates a professional marketing and booking activities that reflect the professional approach to business.
What has been the result?
The website has enhanced the image, reputation and profile of The Next Level. Interest in the company has increased and the number of people visiting the site is rapidly increasing. This has led to a continuing increase in clients, including two from outside the borders of the North East region – one based in Swansea, Wales and the other in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has also received a number of enquires from London.
